About R.B.K.

Authentic Brazilian cooking in London—charcoal-fired flavour, market-fresh produce, and the warmth of a family kitchen. Since 2016.

Welcome to Rogério’s Brazilian Kitchen

Here at RBK we love Brazilian cuisine — not just barbecues and meat on sticks, but the full spectrum of real Brazilian cooking: as varied as it is colourful. From the classic Feijoada Carioca (slow-cooked pork and black beans, a cousin of French cassoulet) to vibrant seafood stews like Moqueca de Peixe. Just like its people, Brazilian food is a true melting pot of cultures and styles. At RBK we marry beautiful, exotic ingredients with the amazing produce of the UK.

I’m Rogério Costa and I started RBK in 2016 to share the food of my country. My heritage is Native Brazilian Indian, and I grew up surrounded by markets, produce, and family. Many of my favourite dishes were taught to me by my grandmother. My love for Brazilian food grew through my time as a chef in the Brazilian Merchant Navy and later as a chef in both Brazil and London.

When we began, I teamed up with Tom Whittaker (MasterChef UK finalist), my friend and fellow chef, who helped me build RBK for over seven years before starting his own specialist business. My ethos is simple: fresh, vibrant, tasty food prepared with care — delivered with a bit of Brazilian fun and passion.

Whether you’re at home, in the park, or in the middle of the street, Rogério’s Brazilian Kitchen brings the true passion and flavour of Brazil to you. Get in touch and we’ll bring our party to you! Some dish names may be new — that’s part of the excitement. I’d love to share my Brazil with you, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
